Our 50th Class Reunion was a very memorable event! A great time was had by everyone, which made the committee feel tremendous pride for all of the time, work and energy they put into making this weekend happen!

I'd like to thank everyone on the 50th Reunion Committee: Vicki Dyksterhuis Folkerts (our social media queen), Darcy Durdy Johnson (who organized a wonderful tour of our school), Cindy Cole Kiel (who arranged, with Darcy, the beautiful centerpieces at our Saturday evening dinner), Deborah Phipps Beasley and Carol Young (who organized the challenging Western Welcome Week parade participation), Cindy Van Fleet Johnson (for all her behind the scenes work as well as handling, with her husband Neil, the big job of taking portrait pictures at Pinehurst) and last but not least Jim Garrison (for all of his time and work on the website and associated communications).

My thanks also go to my ‘recruited’ decorating committee at Pinehurst: LaDelle Reynolds, Randy Saunier, Kevin Wyatt and Ruth Schoening (a very special guest from our ‘Euclid’ days), and to Kris Holthaus for taking candid photos at our Saturday evening reception and dinner.

I would like to thank our DJ, Gary Romero, from DJ Notch for doing such a great job on Saturday night.

Pinehurst was a wonderful venue and truly was the source of many Magic Moments all of us will cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you Pinehurst.

Finally, I want to sincerely thank each and every classmate and guest who took time to attend. I wish I would have had time to visit with each person, but it was so nice to see so many smiling faces!

I'd like to ask each alumnus to let us know if they have a change of contact information so we can keep in touch. Our website will continue; we will update it as needed and will have current information posted so be sure and check it out once in a while.

In closing, let me say again that I think our class is the best to ever attend Littleton High School. What an honor to be your classmate!
